- The Official MTO Driver's HandbookThe Ministry's own handbook. What the G1 knowledge test is drawn from, and what you check your understanding of the rules of the road against before a road test.
- How new drivers get their G1, G2 and G licencesOntario's own explanation of the three stages, the waiting periods, and what each licence lets you do. The authority on anything described elsewhere on this site.
- DriveTest: book a knowledge or road testDriveTest centres provide licensing and examination services on behalf of the Ministry. Book online, or call 1.888.570.6110. You are also welcome to contact us and we will help you book it.
- Renewing a driver's licenceFrom the age of 80, drivers renew every two years. This is the official process, and worth reading before booking refresher lessons with us.

Your coursework
The 30 hours of coursework are delivered through TruBiCars, our Ministry-approved training platform. Access opens as soon as your payment clears, and your progress is saved between sessions, so the course can be done in long evenings or in twenty-minute pieces.
Questions the handbook does not answer
Call and ask. Our phone support is open every day between 8am and 8pm, and a phone call is preferred.
